Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse : Reviews & Swatches :)

I'm not even gonna put any suspense into this. I LOVE this foundation. It has been my everyday foundation since it first came out. I used it once and fell in love. <3 Read below for more details. =D

The color I'm reviewing is Nude. I am OCD about my foundation being matte. I do not like to shine or anything of the sort. lol. It also does really well with covering pores and fine lines. The last swatch is just the foundation without any primer, and you can see it does a great job covering by itself. Also, I did the swatch on my right hand because of my scar. You can see from the pictures that it easily covered the redness of my scar, so imagine what it can do for blemishes! The only thing that disappointed me this time was the look of it when I opened it. It usually looks amazing, but I did drop it a few times at the store. =/ lol. Occasionally, you will get one that looks like that when you open it up, but it doesn't bother the foundation. It works just the same. =)

I am definitely recommending that you go try this foundation. =D

I paid $7.94 plus tax for this item.

Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color ; Review & Swatches :)

I'll admit it, I'm a bit of an eyeshadow junkie. My eyes are my favorite facial feature, so I always like to play them up with pretty eyeshadows. As mineral eyeshadow goes, $3.50 is pretty cheap, so my guard was automatically up with this item. Did it pass my test?

The color I'm reviewing is called Amber Blaze. For some reason, a goldish color was missing from my eyeshadow collection. How in the world does that happen?? lol. So, I purchased this from my Mary Kay representative. This eyeshadow is impressively pigmented. The swatch on my hand is from me simply pressing my finger in the eyeshadow and rubbing it across my hand. Crazy, right? The shadow went on simply and smoothly with zero fallout. I layered it with a darker brown, and it looked amazinggg.

There was only one con to this. For some reason, on my eye, this color was a bit more orangey than I thought it would be. It was still beautiful, but not the rich gold that I assumed it would be. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product and will probably be buying more colors in the future. :)

I paid $3.50 plus tax for this item.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser : Review & Swatches =)

Neutrogena is known for their awesome skin products. Did this facial cleanser live up to the Neutrogena expectation?

I HATEEEEE this product. I do not like sayin that about a Neutrogena product because they are normally awesome, but this was horrible. I have been blessed in the fact that normally, my skin really rocks. It's very rare that I get even the smallest blemish. I was out of my normal cleanser, so I just picked this up at the store down the street. The first couple of days I used this, my chin broke out like crazy. I chalked it up to using a new product on my face. I've been using it for 3 weeks now, and I will never use this again. I have blemishes on my chin, around my lip, as well as on my forehead. Horrible waste of money. Also, I tend to have skin on the oilier side, and this product even made MY skin dry. =/

I paid $5.00 plus tax for this.

Cover Girl Clean Make-Up : Reviews & Swatches :)

Hello my lovelies :) I told ya'll I would have some reviews coming soon! <3
My first review is going to be on Covergirl's Clean Make-Up for Normal Skin in Creamy Natural.

I actually like this foundation pretty well. It's my back-up foundation for when I run out of my regular! It does have a bit of a chemical smell when you first put it on, but the smell does go away after it dries. Speaking of drying, it dries down pretty quickly, so make sure you're prepared for that. This foundation has decent coverage, but it does come off rather easily. The two main things I dislike about this product are: it has sort of a "dewy" type finish, and I prefer my foundation to be more matte. It also seems to settle into my (rather large, ugh!) pores and any fine lines. =(

I paid $6.25 plus tax for this. <3

Give the Illusion of Volume :)

Hello my pretties! :)

If you have hair like mine, it's straight and flat as a board. My hair also tends to run a little oily, so it's hard for me to use a lot of products on my hair. So, I thought I'd share a few little tricks I use to make my hair look more voluminous! :)

- Skip the conditioner in the shower. It's naturally going to make your hair feel a little dryer than normal, but it gives a bit more texture to your hair.
- Blow dry hair with your head upside down. This makes the hair dry away from your head rather than right on top of it.
- If you have a side part, part it a little farther over than you normally would.
- Flat iron just the ends of your hair. With the ends super straight, it gives the illusion that the hair at the top of your head has more body in it.

Now, I'm no hair guru, and I'm certainly not a professional. These are just little tricks that work for me when I want a little more body in my hair! Let me know your tricks and if any of these worked for you!

Until next time, lovelies. <3

The First of Many :)

Hello everyone! My name is Candi, and this is my brand spankin new blog! I'm gonna start off with a little intro, and I'd love it if you all introduced yourselves as well!

I'm 23, and I live in Alabama. Yes, I am a bit of a redneck. =P But I am obsessed with all things make-up! I live on a small horse farm, and I'm attending college working towards a Criminal Justice degree. I have an amazing boyfriend, Johnathan. I'm sure you'll hear tons about him! lol. So, why the title "Stolen Beauty" for my blog? I, like many folks these days, am on a budget. While I may love beauty, I do not have the money to splurge on products like MAC, Urban Decay, etc. So, the point of my blog will be to find really great make-up at afforable prices. =)

Blog posts will include reviews/swatches, inexpensive make-up looks, my must-have products, make-up tips,  and a few surprises along the way!

I also have an idea for a "daily look" post that I'll start doing if ya'll would be interested in it. It'll cover my make-up, clothes, jewelry, etc. for the day along with pictures.

Anyways, enough of my ramblings! Let me know the things you would like to see first! <3 Muah! See you soon lovelies!
